Luciana Paoluzzi as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the child of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). She does not have any known siblings. Luciana was a student at an elementary school in the area before going into the Scientific Academy of Milan in 1955. Luciana was one of only two women in her class. After two years of study, she started her modeling career. Soon after, she got a chance to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain during a trip to Rome visiting a friend of her father. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her very first spouse. Following the wedding, in 1960 they produced a film together called Return to the Peyton Palace. Luciana was given custody of the film when the couple split a few years after Charles had been born. Luciana had a long-term relationship with Tony Athony. He was an actor and film producer. Tony was influenced by her role as Green Slime in Green Slime to create the Spaghetti Western.
