Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise was an American singer, actress, and writer who is best known in the role of Ginger Grant from the TV series Gilligan's Island. Bettle's musical Two's Company was her first stage role in the 50s. She then acted in a number of Broadway performances before she was the most famous on stage together with Li'l Abner, in the year 1957. She released her album It's Too Late for Tina the following year. Louise made her debut in Hollywood in God's Little Acre, a film released in 1958. She was Griselda who was a character from the film. During this time she attended the Actors Studio of New York. Lee Strasberg was her tutor. Louise joined CBS in 1964, to play Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour was able to move between Broadway and Hollywood portraying somber character as contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The SG-1 series and Sanctuary however she also was an accomplished television director on various series like Supernatural and The 100. Born on August 28, 1965, in Essex. When she was 3, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent throughout her early years. Samantha Carter was chosen in 1997 for the part and has been settling down there ever since.
