Zoe-perry

Perry was the daughter of Laurie Metcalf (actor) and Jeff Perry (actor). Her first appearance was on television in the role of Jackie Harris, a character played by her mother in the ABC show Roseanne. She did not consider a career in acting after reaching adulthood, as her parents were concerned about the adverse impact stress might have. Perry was a shy teenager and was not a performer. The actress began her acting career in the year 2000 at Northwestern University to gain friends as she moved from Boston University. Perry started her acting career in New York after graduation, getting small role in Law & Order: Criminal Intent. Then, homesickness led to Perry go back to California and pursue a career as a stage actress. The Other Place was performed by her and her mother in 2013 on Broadway in 2013. In 2015, she appeared alongside Kevin McKidd alongside her mother in Eugene O'Neill's Pulitzer-winning Drama Anna Christie. The Odyssey Theatre Ensemble is located in West Los Angeles. Perry played a lead role in nine episodes of the ABC drama The Family. Perry played a prominent role in the ABC drama about politics Scandal which starred her father. Also, she was cast on The CBS sitcom The Big Bang Theory spinoff Young Sheldon as a version younger than Mary Cooper, Sheldon Cooper's mom. The role was given an audition to the actress, even though she is a relative with the role.
